Resia is proud to share the success of our 2024 Back-to-School initiatives across Atlanta, Miami, and our Manufacturing Facility. Through various donation efforts, we’ve come together to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and their families.

In Atlanta, our team made a significant contribution by donating essential supplies to local students. By participating in a school supplies drive for a nearby Tucker school, Resia supported the Dekalb County Back-to-School drive with much-needed items. The warm reception from the Dekalb County staff highlighted the positive impact of our efforts, and we look forward to future collaborations. Additionally, we partnered with SafeHouse Outreach, a well-respected non-profit organization, to support families who recently secured permanent housing. Thanks to our donations, five families in need received backpacks filled with essential supplies, ensuring their children were well-prepared for the first day of school.

At our Manufacturing Facility, the focus was on supporting our own team members. Through a giveaway organized by our dedicated staff, over 60 Back-to-School gift bags filled with supplies were provided to the children of our team members, ensuring they were equipped for a successful school year. The joy and gratitude expressed by the recipients underscored the importance of this initiative.

In Miami, Resia provided school supplies that will be distributed to children throughout the school year at Goulds Elementary, near our Resia Old Cutler community. Additionally, 100 headsets were donated to the Gateway K-8 Back-to-School event, which supported 800 of the most vulnerable families in the Homestead area, ensuring that students had the tools they needed to succeed both in and out of the classroom.

As our Director of Business Development, Gus Cabrera, put it, “Supporting back-to-school efforts is more than just providing supplies — it’s investing in the future of our children and the communities we serve. Every donation helps ensure that every child, regardless of their circumstances, has the tools they need to succeed and dream big.”
