Selma Rabelo

As Director of Product Development & Innovation at Resia, Selma Rabelo ensures corporate and development goals are achieved through new innovative technologies and development practices. Specifically, she focuses on innovation in three areas – the customer journey or experience; construction and design industrialization and automation; and lastly, digital transformation of other business units within the company in order to achieve greater efficiencies and operational excellence.

With over 20 years of experience in business development, real estate development, design and construction, Selma served as Director of Development at Resia (formerly known as AHS Residential) for six years before her promotion to Director of Product Development & Innovation in 2021. She was retained by AHS Residential and relocated from Brazil to Miami in 2016 to spearhead the implementation of new construction systems that allowed AHS Residential to dramatically scale up its development activity across the country. Her career spans the globe and she has collaborated on various high-profile projects in Latin America, Europe and Australia, as well as the United States.

Selma graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and Urbanism from Federal University of Brazil and an MBA in Construction and Technology from the University of São Paulo. She is a member of Builders Association of South Florida (BASF) and the Latin Builders Association (LBA), which both represent aspects of South Florida’s vibrant construction industry and most of the area’s related business concerns.
